Currently, the body of aluminum alloy plate has become an important automotive lightweight material technologies,because it has high strength, low density, corrosion resistance, light weight, etc., so as a car to aluminum body panels, automotive lightweight is a trends at current and future. However, with respect to the steel body, aluminum body panels on the process put forward higher requirements. Robot Hemming technology is developed foreign auto companies mainly aluminum body panels connection technology, but the technology is less in domestic application. Therefore, research and explore robotics technology Roller hemming and promoting and marketing of aluminum cover on the car’s use. Results and conclusions of this study are:1. The establishment of a rational plane straight side aluminum hemming models.In this paper, aluminum sheet metal forming CAE technology, domestic and international reference model and plate aluminum trim trim model with aluminum alloy(Grade 5052) to trim the study established a simulation model and experimentally obtained aluminum alloy(5052 grade) related material parameters.2. The first proposed method of improving the efficiency of aluminum hemming by Multi-roller simultaneously.This paper explores the possibility of simultaneous multiple wheel trim, and with the traditional single wheel trim for comparison, also proposed multi-roller hemming to achieve the appropriate solutions while single wheel trim effect.The project aims to study the body panels of aluminum alloy rolled edging forming process, quality factors shaping edging; the project is conducive to the development of robots for aluminum piping systems and equipment, will help promote the body panels of aluminum alloy applications, thus achieving energy saving purposes.
