With the rapidly development of China's auto industry,people's requirements for the appearance,price and style of the car are also constantly improving.The car wheel cover is one of the automobile covers,the forming quality of the rolling edge process determines its appearance quality and dimensional accuracy.The wheel is an indispensable tool in the rolling edge process,and the performance will also affect the quality of the rolling edge.Designing a high-performance wear-resistant roller is an effective mean to improve the forming quality of the rolling bead,reduce the cost,and improve the forming quality of the car wheel cover.Analyzing the stress of the plate during the rolling edging process,and has been used the shell mechanism as follow.One of which taking the morphological characteristics of the groove on the surface of the ranunculus maps to the design of the roller,which improves the wear resistance of the roller,increases the service life of the roller,and improves the forming quality of the rolled edging.The specific works are as follows:Firstly,through the analysis of the rolling process of the car wheel cover which using the finite element analysis method,simulate the workflow of the rolling edging by the finite element analysis software,the rolling is performed at different pressing angles.The analysis shows when the first pre-rolling angle is 30°and the second pre-rolling angle is 45°,are the best pressing angles.Secondly,put the scapharca subcrenatas as the bionic prototype,take the characteristics of the scapharca subcrenatas~'surface structure into consideration,and the horizontal and vertical staggered structural features are mapped into the design of the roller structure.Two kinds of bionic rollers are designed-the horizontal stripes bionic roller and the vertical stripes bionic roller.The modal analysis and mechanical analysis of the three types of rollers were carried out by finite element analysis.The results show that the performance of the roller with bionic structural unit is better than that of the ordinary structural roller.The bionic roller with vertical stripe structure has a better performance.Based on the designed structure,the roller sample piece was prepared by using a fiber laser marking machine.Finally,a wheel rolling friction test platform was designed and designed to totaling 10 sets of bionic roller specimens.By analyzing the experimental data,the wear resistance of the bionic roller with vertical stripe structure is better than that of the horizontal stripe.The wear resistance can be increased by up to 53.72%compared with the ordinary roller.When analyzing the experimental data,it is also obtained when the bionic unit size is larger than 5 mm,the wear resistance will decrease but it will still superior than that of the ordinary roller.Under this circumstance,the combination method of the golden section method and the simulation analysis shows that the performance can be optimal when the aspect ratio of the vertical stripe roller is 0.382.
