With the accelerating speed of Chinese cities’urbanism, the expansion of thescale of cities changing the functional zoning of the original, under the impactof the new cities’development, the older ones are facing the continuingdemolition and reconstruction and serious problems of sustainable development. In view of the current shortage of land resources, and per capita grain shortagesituation, the introduction of the latest national "Twelfth Five Year" Planencourages both green transformation and reuse of existing constructions, whichis one of the effective ways of avoiding the overaction of demolishing andrebuilding and the excessive waste of land resources in those developing cities. Therefore, the situation of the existing industrial land beginning to changecoordinating with the development of new functional planning, and the originalindustry moving to the new City Industrial Park, which lead to a waste ofindustrial land without the defined direction of future development, and becomean important proposition of the construction industry. On the basis of the study of the existing industrial architecture transformation, this paper analysis and research the green transformation of the civilianreconstruction of existing industrial buildings, which combined with the greenbuilding technology. Based on the investigation on the current situation ofexisting industrial buildings in Hefei, as well as on existing industrial buildings’successful transformation of non green cases in other domestic cities, theexisting problems of transformation in industrial buildings have com e out.According to the analyses and comparison aimed at the two successful casescombined with the relevant theoretical research, the paper obtains a set ofcivilian green transformation strategies of existing industrial building, practicing on relevant course work, and gets the final conclusion and prospect. This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the first chapter, focuseson the existing industrial buildings’ civilian green background, researchsignificance, research situation abroad and the definition of related concepts; thesecond part is the second chapter to the third chapter, through visit and researchconcentrating on the analyses of current status of the industrial architecturetransformation, as well as the in-depth analysis and research of the Suzhou Design and Research Institute and Shenzhen South China Sea Yicoo, which oldindustrial buildings transformed into green architecture have become successfulin the transformation strategies and methods, and evaluation aspects of postoccupancy.Comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these two kindsof transformation, which aimed to determine the necessity of the existingindustrial buildings’civilian green transformation; the third part is the fourthchapter to the fifth chapter, combined with the above analyses of main factorsand summarized existing industrial buildings’ civilian green transformation, andthrough the analyses and induction, a set of the basic principles of the target, thesteps and the implementation of the transformation strategies has come out; thelast part is the sixth chapter, based on the above analyses combined with theanalyses of a practical engineering case of conceptual design, verifying theproposed transformation strategies of the green buildings. In conclusion, based on the analyses of the success of the domestic industrialbuildings’ green transformation of civil cases, this paper explored the currentstatus of industrial green transformation in China, obtaining the theory frompractice, then putting the theory into practice. In the absence of any evaluation system for existing industrial buildings’civilian green transformation, either a set of the premise complete greentransformation strategies, this paper combined the existing civ ilianreconstruction of industrial buildings with green buildings design, which lead tocommon point of integration. According to the different regional climate, withthe special representatives of existing industrial buildings, under the guidanceof multi subjects, this paper accomplished a set of implementation strategies, inthe hope that not only to ensure the premise of industrial buildings, which are ofhistorical value and spiritual tradition, but to reach the green buildingsevaluation criteria and achieve two-time life cycle of industrial buildings’favorable use. Eventually it provided some helpful references about greentransformation construction strategies and assessment system in the future.
