| Nowadays, the popularity of private cars and people’s aesthetic standards rise unceasingly, awareness and demand for the car of consumer has changed a lot. The consumers continue to the function development, at the same time, the car appearance designs have been put forward higher requirements. As an integral part of automotive vehicle design, the research and development of emotional color design has been paid more attention. People want their car to have emotional color, which not only reflects the quality of the car itself, but also is able to demonstrate their feelings. In this paper, the design basis and method car color and the relevant literature of study emotional needs are studied, based on the combination of survey data, the emotional color system of cars is built, with a view to meet the emotional needs of car colors designed and providing a useful auxiliary. The main contents of this paper is as follows:The basic theory of color science was studied further in the paper firstly. The components of color elements and the classification of the color system were researched. On the base of this, the influence on public psychology of color was studied as an emphasis. Combined with the color’s form and function, the positive effect of color on aesthetics and marketing of the car was analyzed.The emotional design’s meaning and the factors of emotional needs design was analyzed secondly. Through the analysis of the effect of emotional color design on traffic safety, the trend of emotional color design’s development was studied.Through the analysis of the Chinese cars’ color emotional system, factors of consumption crowd and patterns, based on these, the questionnaire was designed. Then through the questionnaire, the awareness and the needs of emotional color is analyzed. The cars’emotional color system was constructed by statistical analysis method and the image scale method, the emotional color system of car is finally built. |
