With the tremendous changes of highway traffic conditions and the continuous improvements of vehicles, road passenger transport makes up for the shortage of aviation and railway network in recent years. It plays an important role in passenger connection and shunting, especially in the peak period. However, the competitiveness of road passenger transport industry has been significantly weaker when compared with air transport and rail transport. Coach terminal is an important hub for road passenger transport. Its operation management level and quality of service affect the development of the whole industry. The introduction of information systems can meet the requirements of intelligent passenger transport, refined operation management and high quality service. Meanwhile, the construction of industry supervision indicator system can be helpful for the relevant departments to find problems in terminal operation process, and guide the development of road passenger transport industry in a healthy, orderly way.Based on the background, firstly, this paper starts with the construction of road passenger transport information system. After summarizing the development and research status at home and abroad, this paper analyses the problems and requirements of informatization construction in road passenger transport industry. Taking passengers, freight and vehicles as the center, the functions of coach terminal information system is sorted out, and the system architecture is put forward. The information system is divided into4modules, passenger service module, freight service module, vehicle management module and station management module. Considering the information system operating characteristics and supervision data requirements, this paper redesigns the operation processes in terminals.Secondly, based on the operation processes, this paper constructs the supervision indicator system. Including basic indicators, performance indicators, traffic indicators, safety indicators, service indicators, economic indicators and energy reduction indicators, the supervision indicator system is divided into7categories,19subcategories, with53indicators. While taking into account the dynamic needs and principles, the dynamic supervision indicator system is constructed by extracting12key indicators.Then, on the basis of dynamic supervision indicator system, Extenics theory and Analytic Network Process (ANP) are applied to establish a dynamic integrated supervision index model of the coach terminal, in order to monitor the terminal operation level.Finally, taking X-city as a case, the weights of indicators are given through network analysis model built with Super Decision software, while MATLAB software is used to establish dynamic integrated supervision index model based on the indicators data collected from SQL Server database platform. With the help of the model, this paper compares the operation level of10coach terminals in X-city in2013and analyses the fluctuation of operation level at Terminal-A for12months. According to the results of analyses, some improving suggestions are provided in the end.
