This paper is on the basis of the engineering design, construction organization and others which are proposed in the "Study report on the Lao Hu Kou reservoir project’s feasibility in Wulan,Haixi, Qinghai". This paper has conducted a preliminary analysis and understanding about the proposed construction project’s scale, nature, engineering level, project layout, the main buildings and etc., and on this basis, the assessment level has been determined and the assessment scope and key emphasis in work have been delineated. The following results are obtained.A, The status quo development is unstable. There is 6 landslides and 6 debris flow.B, It concludes the possibility and risk of all disasters which are caused and intensified by engineering construction, and it also can predict all disasters’risk for engineering position after the project’s construction by studying all disasters in the process of engineering construction.C, It proceeds the partition of the geological hazard risk zone on the basis of the status quo and forecasting. And it will put forward the corresponding prevention measures after the partition.
