Reseach Of The Traditional Wooden Frame Residence In Changchun In The Period Of Modern Time

Traditional wood frame building has a strong oriental cultural attributes, is the signs and symbols of splendid culture, ancient civilization during ancient Chinese five thousand years’ history, not only is China’s traditional cultural treasures, but also a valuable cultural asset of human civilization and progress, not only to reflect the country at that time superb building skills, but also highlights the outstanding artistic achievements of the Chinese nation and rich cultural heritage.Changchun region is an important area of immigration in history, along with the degree of cultural exchange and integration among peoples has deepened,generating more issue national identity, multiculturalism and cultural connotation of timber frame houses. Changchun wooden frame residence not only absorbed the essence of traditional houses of Han nationality in the central plains region of China,and also according to the geographical location of the external environment and the local lifestyle and deepening its development, to form a unique geographical characteristics of timber frame houses.This paper is a special sub-topics of my mentor’s research in city and building of Changchun in the modern time,and take the traditional wooden frame residence in Changchun in the period of modern time as research subject,based on the field research and mapping survey and collected data,analysis and study the constructing-technique and form-character of wooden frame residence of Changchun in a coherent multi-disciplinary way,and learn from the related research results,summary the form characters of it.This paper is divided into four chapters, as follows:The first part discusses the origin, the purpose and the meaning of the topic,with the research scope, the research status in the domestic and around the world,also with the research contents and methods.The second part introduces the geographical, historical, cultural background,national culture and religious belief in the area of Changchun, summary the formation foundation of wooden frame residence in Changchun, and analyze the basic characteristics of the various aspects in it.The third part based on the investigation of wooden frame residence in Changchun, analysis the characteristics of construction technology in the foundation,the wall, the wood frame, the detail procedure with a detail study.The fourth part analysis on the plane distribution characteristics of the woodenframe residence in Changchun at first,then analysis the characteristics of its courtyard space by the courtyard composition, space composition, space variation and the sustainable development of the courtyard space. At last, analysis the morphological character of the wooden frame residence in Changchun, and discuss its cultural content.
