In recent years,with the rapid development of rail transit industry in our country, vehicle manufacturing technology, from the absorbtion in the beginning into the present innovation, completed the cross which developed countries cost several decades to complete. Operation technology is more and more mature, and the capacity of high density and large load make the rail transport meet our country’s special need such as rural workers tide、students tide and Spring Festival tide and so on. Therefore China has unique mode of rail transport operation which is different from other countries. At present the vehicle traction power system and train control system can realize localization, and the technology can also reach the international advanced level. But most of the braking system still relies on foreign technology, On one hand it would cost more money,on the other hand it is not conducive to China’s early localization of related technique. Parking brake system is a key part of the brake system, it plays a very important role in the system, this article focuses on the research and design of the locomotive’s parking brake system.Firstly, this paper introduce the parking brake’s function and control principle,Takes 25t axis load eight axis electric locomotive as the design object, computes the parking brake force in different braking mode. Analysis the antislide、antirolling performance.Secondly, design parking brake gas circuit system, control system, anti superpositi oncomponents, and parking barke cylinder. Complete the storage energys spring’s fatigue life simulation with the SolidWorks.Thirdly, after each valve’s function is introduced in detail in the gas path, built simulation model of each valve by using AMEsim simulation software,set parameters and run the models,analysis the response speed and the steady state characteristcis, optimize the valves’ parameters.Finally, built the parking brake system air circuit model, simulate the different working conditions, analysis the whole system’s performance.Study the influencing factor on the perforence of the system,provide reference date for the system’s optimization.
