Vehicle parking system can not only prevent slippery when the car is in the parking state, but also help the car to start when it stoppes on the ramp. In some urgent cases that the service brake system loses its effect, parking system can make a emergency temporary work or cooperate with transmission system for emergency braking. Nowadays, the parking brake transmission mechanism can be installed inside the brake clamp body, and will not take up the outer space of brake. So there is no need to layout the place out of brake pliers for parking system. Base on these, brake installation space is improved. The research object of this article is hydraulic disc brake which is installed with a parking system in its clamp body.The paper introduces the basic theory of brake, expounds the classification of brake and the advantages and disadvantages of various categories, and summarizes the advantages of hydraulic disc brakes on the car. In addition, the article introduces the structure and working process of hydraulic disc brake carefully. The positions and roles of the parts are described from service braking and parking braking process. Based on the national standard of the car parking brake performance, this paper builds the mechanics model of brake system, calculates the maximum parking ramp angle of the car which is equipped with vehicles parking disc brake in the upper and lower ramps, and obtains the needed clamping force of brake caliper body and the force on the piston from transfer mechanisms. Also, the impact of fit clearance between screw and thread sleeve on the service brake or parking brake performance is analyzed.The article accomplishes the hydraulic disc brake simulation model in LMS. Virtual Lab Motion. The general process of the multi-body dynamics model is introduced and the problems when building this kind of model are given out. Based on the general process for multi-body dynamics, the working principle of the brake, and the movement of the various parts, the kinematic model is completed by adding motion pair constraints. According to the transfer of force in the brake, the dynamic model is completed by adding force between parts with relative force.Finally, the brake simulation result is analyzed. In addition, the parking system steel ball's movement track and contact with and the drive shaft and the screw is studied. Then, the gap between screw and thread sleeve is also analyzed. Considering the tilt between the screw and thread sleeve, the dynamic model is adjusted. Compared the simulation results, the consequence caused by the fact that the screw and thread sleeve are not collinear during working, as well as the working effect to the other institutions are studied.
