Design Of Children’s Playground In Indoor Public Space

The children’s playground is the main place for children to play games and the games are of great significance to the development of children’s mind,body and intelligence.With the liberalization of the second child policy,children are getting more and more attention;while the urbanization process has gradually reduced the green area of the city,coupled with environmental pollution and seasonal weather restrictions,most of the children’s game activities are carried out in indoor playgrounds.At present,there are many problems and deficiencies in the construction of indoor children’s playgrounds in China,such as lack of game space,single amusement facilities,unreasonable spatial layout,lack of fun and creativity.Therefore,it is essential to create a high quality indoor children’s playground for children.This paper mainly combines the relevant theoretical knowledge of children’s psychology,children’s behavior,interior design and other disciplines,and by the field research and investigation,explores the important influence of indoor children’s playground on children’s physical and mental development.This paper is divided into three major parts: First,the basic theoretical research on children’s playground in indoor public space,combined with children’s psychological behavior,analyzes the psychological characteristics and behavioral characteristics of children of all ages,which is to fully understand children’s demand for playgrounds.Secondly,through field trips,we visited various indoor children’s playgrounds in Shenyang,analyzed the current situation of children’s play places,and summarized the shortcomings in the current situation.Finally,with the support of the above theoretical knowledge and the field investigation and analysis,the design of the children’s playground in the indoor public space was explored,and the prospect of the future indoor children’s playground was put forward.The innovation of this paper is to combine the basic theoretical knowledge of multiple disciplines,and to follow the safety and practical design,humanized design,innovative design,interactive design and accessibility design to explore and research.The purpose and significance is to use the children’s real needs as a starting point to design and create high-quality indoor children’s playgrounds for children.
