Since the reform and opening up, with the urbanization process in China, urbansprawl and to penetrate the outer suburbs, urban and rural boundaries becomeincreasingly blurred, the spatial relationship of the city and the village also changed:from the initial villages away from the city into a village close to and around the city,and later the village embed cities, villages eventually disappear into the city. In thisprocess of change, urban and rural areas have had a lot of problems, so, overallrelations and coordination of city and village has an important role in the developmentof both. How to improve urban and rural issues, improve urban-rural relations, andthe formation of urban and rural areas and rural prosperity communion win-winsituation, causing more and more people ’s attention and thinking, has become thestarting point of this study.In addition, with the expansion of industrial and urban development, urban high-density and high-intensity development model resulted in a significant reduction ofurban open space and greenery, the deterioration of environmental quality,particularly in the highly industrialized city of the living quality and greater impact.From this stage in terms of the steady development of China’s economy, people’sliving standard continues to improve, more and more people to pursue greater andmore diverse open space to enjoy nature, the development of "urban agriculture" justto meet people these requirements to become an important embodiment of modern urban civilization.New West Ham planning and construction of Shaanxi Province is in the urban andrural background and expand new urbanization, which advocates of urban agricultureas the basis of modern garden city planning concepts, intensive efforts to build acompact, low-carbon eco-harmonious livable, distinctive modern city. This studyinvestigated the Jinghe River town village spatial development patterns and strategiesand other issues from the perspective of urban agriculture in New West Ham. Firstly,summarizes the theory and examples of today’s domestic rural development plan,starting from the development process of the evolution of the relationship betweenrural and urban spaces and analyze the relationship between urban development andurban agriculture; then focus on New West Ham, West Ham District interpretconstruction background, development situation and development concept of UrbanAgriculture in new West Ham development background and strengths, and to explorethe background of urban agriculture under the new West Ham ’s new urban-ruralrelationship; on this basis, further gathered in new West Ham Jinghe River new Towndevelopment construction, based on analysis of urban village development processcharacteristics and spatial evolution of the transformation model, summed up theopportunities and challenges in the new context Jinghe River town villageDevelopment faced with the development requirements and conditions for thedevelopment of modern garden city new West Ham construction, adapt to the newmodel proposed in the Jinghe River Town village space development, namely"community-based village " mode. Further analysis focuses on "community-basedvillage," the spatial layout mode, social forms constitute, industrial development,architectural form intentions, etc., combined with town planning Applicability of themodel to achieve reduce urban-rural differences, both urban and rural conflicts, playrespective advantages of urban and rural targets for future construction to providesome idea of the village reference and reference.
