Research On The Urban-rural Spatial Planning Mode Of Xixian New Area Under The Modern Garden City’s Orientation

Considered as the core area of Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone and theimportant growth pole of Xi’an International metropolis, Xi’xian New Area bears thehistorical duty of supporting and leading the construction of international metropolis,which is the key point to the Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone’s developingplanning and the strategy of a new round of western development.The article is made up by four parts. By taking the Fengxi New City as an example,it investigated the urban-rural spatial planning mode of Xi’xian New Area under theModern Garden City’s Orientation.The first part is about the related basic theory. It mainly discoursed the researchbackground, the goal and meaning, content, method and the research frame. Then itsummarized related basic theories and related research of the theory of urban-ruralplanning and Garden City.The second part pointed out the concept and the inner demand of the Modern GardenCity, based on the summary the experience of related theories and practices. To offer thetheory base to the coming up research of Xi’xian New Area’s urban-rural planningmode, it analized the urban-rural constituent elements, their inner effect and the way offorming the urban-rural space, based on the law of the urban-rural space’s development.Under the guide of theory that the second part pointed, the third part researchedXi’xian New Area’s developing background, current situation, developing tendency, thedriven power. It then pointed out the Xi’xian New Area’s growth pole+groups+point axis+net urban-rural spatial planning mode through analizing each element of Xi’xianNew Area urban-rural space under the guide of Modern Garden City’s demand.Furthermore, it explained the connotation of such mode and the developing way. At last,it researched Fengxi New City’s urban-rural spatial planning, and indicated the Maincity+specialized towns+Modern Garden Communities, the three-classed spatialstructure, and the tactics of Fengxi New City urban-rural spatial planning.The last part is the conclusion part. It summarized the whole article’s progress, andpointed out the weakness of the research, the key point of the next-stepped research, andthe content that need to be strengthened.This article focused on the industrial agglomeration and its modernization, theevaluation’s importance to the restructuring and development of social economy, andthe urgency of the equalization of urban-rural basic public services, just to provide thestrategy to Xi’xian New Area’s current urban-rural development.
