Applied Research On Oil Mist Lubrication System In The Petrochemical Pumps Industry

Whether machinery and equipment can operate smoothly or not, lubrication is extremly important. Lubrication system is an important factor to make sure that machinery and equipment can work. In pump group of petrochemical industry, lubrication oil is mainly used. In contrast to traditional lubrication which always lead to high temperature of bearing and breakdown, oil mist lubrication systems can avoid the disadvantage of traditional lubrication and have significant cost savings.Considering the development demands of the enterprise product, this paper chooses the design and experiments of oil mist lubrication system as researching objects. Oil mist lubrication system with jet function and control system were designed according to its’ characteristic. The influence, from mechanical parts and control component and parameters, upon oil mist lubrication system were discussed. This paper analysed the breakdown of oil mist lubrication system and gave reasonable operation and maintenance requirement.Along with the theoretical calculations, and based on the laboratory exper iments and industrial site application experiments, finally it proves the validity and feasibility of the designing of oil mist system.It brings some economic benefits to the enterprise, overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional lubrication, and summarizes the analysis methods and solutions to the oil mist lubrication system common breakdown. This paper provides practical and theoretical basis to live debugging and pipe laying. Autocontrol and jet can be achieved through control system of oil mist system. The oil mist quality was improved and the temperature of bearing was lowered. It can make significant cost savings and provide a new direction for the further design of new products.
