Wuxi has rich landscape resources and the flourishing of humanities. City has the naturalresource advantages and broad application prospect. The thesis takes Wuxi landscape resourcecharacteristics as the research object, combined with the field research and literature survey.Build a comprehensive development and utilization of design strategy based on macroscopicfeatures and microscopic performance. Shape urban landscape brand image and designrelevant industry products.The first part compares the domestic and international researches of "natural resourcedesigned to take advantage of national cultural". Be analyzed from different points,summarized the relevant theoretical research trends and priorities. On this basis, introducingrelevant theoretical tools, proposed the basic principles of landscape resources developmentand utilization in urban.Based on the analysis of structural characteristics of the "Landscape Field" and extractedthe features of landscape resources in Wuxi, by analyzing the main structure of Wuxi“Landscape Field” and its function. The second part established a preliminary understandingof urban space and cultural image. The main composition factors of landscape resources areused to sort out the existing cultural capital types, and extract valid symbolic information.In the third part, the comprehensive development and utilization design strategy and itsdesign practice are the focus of this thesis. From the perspective of the major components of"Landscape Field", the key points of shaping urban landscape image are analyzed, and finallythe brand positioning of landscape resource is obtained. Under the guidance of "NewLandscape Aesthetic", the establishment of concept identification, behavior recognition andvisual recognition systems are analyzed from three aspects: aesthetic sense, aesthetic modeand aesthetic tendency. Wuxi landscape brand system is established on the basis of theclassification of natural landscape circle and artificial landscape circle, its brand projects andrelevant industry product designs are concrete manifestation of "Cultural Landscape Heritage".In this thesis, some design practices are carried out for the design and development of thesethree closely related products: tourist souvenirs, cultural products and leisure products.
