Research And Planning Of Wuxi Regional Landscape

The geographical landscape is a landscape system formed by long-term artificial intervention in nature,which has natural and cultural regional characteristics.This paper takes the Wuxi’s regional landscape in the northern part of the Taihu Plain as the research object,considering the regional landscape as a composite system of nature,water conservancy,farmland and settlement,applies historical literature induction research,field investigation,graphic analysis,and case study methods to analyzes the elements that influence the composition of regional landscape and spatial pattern characteristics of Wuxi’s regional landscape.At first,this paper sorts the historical process of regional environmental changes and canal development in the Wuxi area in the northern part of the Taihu.Plain.It provides a basic background for regional environmental research through analyzing the formation background,historical changes,social development and canal development process of the regional natural environment.Secondly,from the analysis of natural geographical conditions,social development factors,water conservancy construction,farmland system and settlement landscape,the stratification study of the landscape system in Wuxi area is made.Besides,according to typical sample study of watershed farmland and settlement landscape by classification sampling,it summarizes the Relevance between those overlays.Thirdly,taking the ancient Wuxi City as the research object,this paper analyzes the choice and change of the natural landscape environment and the residential site,sorts the construction and form evolution of the ancient city and studies the spatial pattern of the ancient Wuxi city and the construction of the traditional urban landscape of Wuxi.Finally,this paper summarizes the inheritance and transformation of the regional landscape under the background of urbanization,and provides methods and basis for future planning and design.Taking the ecological green network planning of Wuxi central city as an example,this paper explores the protection and transformation of regional landscape under the background of urbanization in the specific analysis and practice,in order to provide reference for the urban planning development of Wuxi.
