For some auto parts production enterprise in Zhanjiang, audi throttling valveproduction efficiency is low, rejection rate is high, and the production is not stable, but theproducts are in short supply, which can not meet the increasing requirements of enterpriseorders. The research object in this paper is throttle body machining. We went into theenterprise, observed the situations and collected the relative data there. Combined with IEtechnology and the Flexsim software simulation, we improved the original machining lineand designed a more efficient, fully automatic assembly line with lower rejection rate,which meets the needs of enterprise development. The Concrete research details are asfollows:(1)The analysis of present situation and the part drawing in enterpriseThrough a long time business surveys and data collection, and having some businessrelated communication with technical personnel and line operators, we got the basicinformation and did the data processing and analysis to find out the problems existed in theenterprise. And then we concluded the problems and analyzed the part drawing carefully,finally, we cleared out the key points and difficulties in the machining process.(2) The analysis and improvement of the existing parts machining processBased on the existing parts machining and combined with the collected and analyzed data,we looked for machining line bottlenecks and main problems. Then, we improved thebottleneck and enhanced the original balance rate. We put forward a variety of machiningschemes and picked out the most reasonable one, and then verify the rationality andvalidity of the new project with Flexsim.(3)The mechanical system design of automatic lineIn view of the proposed new machining solution for machine tools, we discussed severalfeasible layout schemes, marked them, and chose the relatively ideal solution for thedesign of the automatic line.Then we mapped out the assembly drawings and part drawingsof the whole line. In addition, mechanics analyses for the important parts were calculated. We designed the whole line in accordance with the new production rhythm and the balanceproduction rate.(4) The control system design of the whole lineCombined with the designed mechanical system and the requirements of the line rhythm,we designed the PLC control system and strictly tested the running time of each part. Atlast, we programmed the relative programs and carryed on the simulation testing andoperating, ensuring that all the requirements have been satisfied. To ensure the controlsystem is safe, stable and reliable, we should solve the problems in debugging in a timelymanner.
