| New Energy Vehicle industry develops sharply during this decent in China.A challenger for this industry is the change of its market.How to let production fit well with market is a problem.The frequency of adjustment for output is becoming higher.Usually,adjustment is linked to layout.It is costly and spent more time if waiting for layout adjustment completed.How to get result more easy? Simulation is a way.A stater production line was selected as an example on simulation study in this article.Contact and achievements are as below.1.A research on production line was done.In this step,process,flowchart,equipment is introduced.Base data was collected also.It is a key for future analysis and simulation software.2.A analysis on production line was finished before it was improved.First traditional IE(Industrial Engineer)methods were used to get a initial conclusion to compare with.3.A digital model of production line was set up by Flexsim software.Bottleneck and improvement points were found by it.Some improve proposals were gained from digital model running result.Statistical tools inside Flexsim were put into used to let digital model fit well with actual one.4.Production line was improved.Output was improved by eliminating bottlenecks and negative facts which were pointed out by digital model.By compare with actual output,digital model was also gained improvement by additional factors added inside.More study was put on the difference between actual production line and digital model until items to be controlled were found.5.Based on expected result showed by digital model,improvements were put into used.The result is positive.(1)Output increased 9.6%,reach 148 pcs each day.155 pcs max per day actually.(2)Efficiency increased 4%,meet 5.2pcs each man per hour.7.5% improved in fact.(3)WIP drops from 159 pcs to 29 pcs.(4)The time spent on first output drops from 7h to 1.3h.By the study of digital model and the improvements on production line,a digital modelwas created to supply expected output data which fits well with actual production line,and a procedure can be follow to simulate and rearrange a production line. |
