With the increasing progress and development of science and technology in currentsociety, the advanced manufacturing technology has brought new opportunities andchallenges to modern manufacturing. To improve the production efficiency, modernmanufacturing enterprises detailedly differentiate their inner production lines whichcontinuously operate with many procedures. However, the differentiation of the proceduresthat continuously operate would lead to the differences of their operation time. There mustbe the phenomena that the imbalance of operational loads will exist among these operatingprocesses.Because of the imbalanced allocation of operational loads on assembly lines, losseswould be brought to work of assembly lines. It can also cause a large number of productsto accumulate in many operating processes, which leads to logistics distribution systemplugging on the whole assembly line, even results in termination of assembly line in severecases. Therefore, when facing the fast changing market environment, modernmanufacturing enterprises explore to implement the mixed assembly line balancing systemoptimization technology. That is very important for enterprises to improve productionefficiency. Since the mixed assembly line balancing system has its own complexity anduncertainty, this thesis also considers the issues of production order and material deliveryin practical production when solving the problem of mixed assembly line system balance.The detailed contents of the research are as following:Firstly, it is constructed based on the lean idea of production scheduling model andmaterial delivery system on the mixed assembly line. For the specific problems existing onmixed-model assembly line, we can conclude the methods for eliminating differences ofwork and solve the problem of production scheduling on mixed-model assembly lines byusing target tracking method. We also need to analyze the specific problem of material delivery in the assembly process, divide the materials with Activity Based Classificationand construct the process-centered material delivery system.Secondly, we can use IE technology to analyze the specific problems existing onmixed assembly line and solve them. Using Double-e software to analyzebottlenecks-station movement of assembly line, we can determine standard SOP. On thatbasis, we use IE technology to get a reasonable improvement of motor assembly linesystem.Lastly, we use Flexsim simulation software to test the simulation of the improvedprogramme. According to practical production process, we connect Flexsim entity modulesand set parameters of all entity modules on the basis of actual production data. Then weuse Flexsim simulation software to simulate the motor assembly line, so we can test thefeasibility of improved programmes through the output results from Flexsim simulationsoftware.
