The Space Research Of Jingmai Dai Villages Under The Perspective Of Cultural Anthropology

Village is the basic unit of local society and the most representative element of human settlement environment. However, rapid urbanization is licking up the original style of the village. The contradiction between the architectural form and the space structure of the village and modern production and way of life is magnified to highlight, which makes rich village space level along with the natural evolution degenerate and disappear gradually. A great number of the studies about the villages which have distinct regional characteristics attract more attention because of the other villages’architectural form’s alienation, its space level’s confusion and its regional characteristics’loss. In recent years, the study about the villages evolutes from a single view to a multi-perspective, which combined with anthropology, sociology and other disciplines. Interdisciplinary research on the village has become a trend of architectural theory research.Jing Mai Dai village, regardless of its geographical location, climate, geology and hydrology, or the relationship between the village and the surrounding natural environment, all reflect the suitability of the living space environment to its local conditions and its rich and diverse cultural landscape.So, this paper, based on the perspective and the ways of cultural anthropology will first analyze and summarized Jing Mai Dai village’s surface morphology from three levels which including its space form, internal node space and residential unit space. And from the influence of the geomantic omen, customs, religious beliefs and other factors, the paper will illustrate the deep structure of the village comprehensively. Then combining with the methods of the cultural anthropology this paper will analyze the space culture of Jing Mai Dai village, and then sum up the evolution characteristics of the village space, and purpose a cultural transmission mechanism according to the present situation problem of village space. Finally, taking Jing Mai Dazhai as an example, this paper will make a empirical research on its the space heritage, so as to verify the rationality and feasibility of the theory. This paper, from the perspective and the method of cultural anthropology on the study of Jing Mai Dai village space, on the one hand, has proved the feasibility of cultural anthropology in the field of architecture; on the other hand, has analyzed the details of the protection on the village space heritage, which may promote the application and reference of the multi-disciplinary knowledge in village space and inheritance.
