Quality Of Urban Living Space Design Research

With the progress and development of society, people’s living standard isimproved than before. Along with the physical needs has been satisfied,people began to pursue and enjoy more on the spiritual needs. Today’s societytends to commercialization of urban residence, so an apartment is only able toprovide people a place for living has been difficult to satisfied the needs ofmodern people. Based on the current situation, as the angle of architecturedesigner and interior designer, this transition is bound to become an era ofnew opportunities and challenges, they need follow the physical needs andspiritual needs of different consumer groups as well as the structure of interiordesign, in order to satisfied the needs of different customer.Recent years has witnessed the prosperity of China’s real estate industryfollowed by great development of interior decoration industry. However,problems inevitably arise in the rapid development of interior decorationindustry. At present, there are a series of common problems in China’sresidential space design. Thus accordingly, the quality of living spaceespecially the occupants should be studied firstly. Based on the research ofinterpersonal relationship or the interaction between man and environment,man and products, high quality living space that can better meet functionaland emotional needs is explored. The main idea of the research of the qualityin this paper is the resualt of changes for our living space in people’s life stylechanges with the times which promote the pursuit in material and spiritualaspect to ourselves’ Apartment living condition. In this paper, the factorsinfluencing the quality of living space are summarized including physicalfactors, the way of life and human emotions, and then the way to improve thequality of living space is explored by analyzing the relationship between theinfluential factors. Finally, from the perspective of designer with deservedresponsibility, better design of high-quality living space is discussed.In this thesis, the relationship between human’s way of life and the quality of living space is focused based on the recognition of the quality ofliving space, with the fundamental purpose to make contribution to realizationof expected high-quality living space in the diversified era. High-qualityliving space is the carrier of human’s demands; only when human’s demandsare deeply explored, can high-quality living space be designed andconstructed. In this paper, present quality of city living space is analyzed, andhuman’s important role in the design of high-quality living space isemphasized, then the way to realize people-oriented design for occupants’better emotion exchanges and communication is discussed, so as to ultimatelyenhance the quality of residential space design.
