With the China’s high-pacing urbanization, the city transpotation system has been experiencing an unprecedented development, during which we have also discovered many urgent problems such as the low efficiency of the system, many utilities’ disability to perform as expected, and the sharp contradiction between the system and its users.Though this research, we set the intervention that the public transpotation utilities have on their users as the entry point, and relate some theories from contemporary Environment-behavior studies with the characteristics of public transpotation utilities and the using environment. According to the users’ behavior and choices, we come up with the concept of behavioral cost. Based on that, we then have the method of raise the positive cost or lower the negative cost, in order to guide the users to give up negative behavior, therefore achieve the aim of increasing the rate of positive behavior. In the research, we divide the intervention means into three types according to the extent of the intervention force, namely guided intervention, binding intervention, and controlling intervention, and combined with empirical research, we also do classification and summery work to the design methods of the three type of intervention means. Finally, incorporate with intrusive design’s principle, and considered the recent situation of the public utilities’ usage in nowadays city transpotation system, we also picture optimizing the intervention system, which will guide, and benefit the design of city transpotation utility, in a practical way. |
