Empirical Study On The Growth Of Spot Engineers In Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Facing the new situation in today’s economic, technological and industrial development,the development of advanced equipment manufacturing industry has become a national development strategy. Developing the advanced equipment manufacturing industry is badly in need of a number of highly qualified engineering and technical personnel, who take the responsibility of Spot Engineers working on the front line. However, as the main force role in training spot Engineers, application-oriented college and university doesn’t form a scientific and perfect cultivation mechanism and system of engineering and technical personnel. Under such a background, the article explores the practice route of the training of Spot Engineers in application-oriented colleges and universities.It conducts in-depth interviews, selects three Enterprises in advanced equipment manufacturing industry, chooses the five typical cases among fifteen engineers. Based on sorting and analyzing the growth of them, combined with literatures, It summarizes the growth path and the law of growth of Spot Engineers. General growth path of them is engineering technology education, engineering practice and follow-upcontinuing engineering education. Systematic engineering technology education is essential, engineering practice is the kernel, and continuing engineering education is the accelerator pedal. Spot Engineers also have their unique growth law,which mainly includes:the law of becoming talented personnel by practice, the law which the teacher influences the student, the law of apical dominance, the law of cumulative effect and the law of building on your intrinsic strengths.Different kinds of talent have different intelligence structures, Spot Engineers are also unique. The training of Spot Engineers is a complex project, application-oriented colleges and universities should base on intelligence structure of Spot Engineers, follow the law of them, carry on the reform from three aspects:the objective of talents training, the course of talents training and the mechanism of talents training. Firstly, it should base on the actual, clear the objective of talents training; secondly,optimize the course of talents training and realize the law of apical dominance; finally, perfect the mechanism of talents training, innovative the mode of talents training.
