Discuss Upon Urban Greenway Planning Interacted With Cities

The next30-50years is the period of rapid urbanization development of China, build acity greenway network, and focus on strengthening the interaction with the city, is the betterway to adapt to the rapid development of urbanization and urban transformation. And it’s alsothe better way to change the passive coordinate position of urban greenways.This article is from the current situation of greenway planning and construction,introduces the research and practice abroad, and the development and difficulties of the urbangreenways construction.By summarizing the main problems of urban greenways planning and construction inChina, thus form the concept, composition and type of urban greenways, and proposed threestrategies of the interaction between the urban greenways planning and the city construction.At first, build an integrated system of urban greenway planning and urban planning, highlightthe importance of urban greenway planning in both the methods and content, and coordinatewith the existing system of planning. Second, propose a multi-objective comprehensivetechnical approach of urban greenway planning, include four processes: investigate the basicconditions of the urban greenways network building, evaluate the ecological security andsocial needs of urban greenways network, integrate to the city function and space system,monitor and assess the implementation effect of urban greenways. Third, establish aninstitutionalized system of safeguards, include department collaboration system, supportingpolicies, management model, public participation and performance appraisal etc.In view of the urban characteristics of China, this article specific proposed the principlesand contents of urban planning and urban greenways interaction, the basic requirements ofvarious types of urban greenways construction, and the planning guidelines of typical lots andurban greenways constitute elements, thus form a research system from strategy to planningguidelines.Finally, case presentation by summarizing the Shenzhen Urban greenway planning andconstruction, illustrate the interact strategy between urban greenway and urban planning andconstruction. Theory with practice, this article aims to improve the China’s characteristic urbangreenway planning and construction.
