The Exploration Of Regional Landscape Of Urban Greenways

Greenways in the form of linear park constitute the "Green network" in cities, which is one kind of open space which makes the parks, nature reserves, cultural characteristics of region, historic sites linked to each other, connects densely populated areas, regional Panhandle or linear park. Unlike urban parks, greenway forms an open city with visually along city roads, constitute a continuous and overall landscape style. It also has the function of ecological corridors, which play a positive role in improve the ecological environment of the city. At the same time, the success of its regional features shape is helpful to form a distinctive style of urban landscape.This article focuses on the way to create a regional landscape of urban greenways. First, in the introduction part, described the positive implications to China’s urban construction of learning and promoting greenway; Overviewed the development and dynamic of greenways and relevant areas at domestic and abroad. The second chapter summarizes the theory of urban greenway and regional, elaborated its concept connotation and the relationship between them.The third chapter is the focus of this article. By choose the typical greenway cases has been built at home and abroad, analysis and summarize the strategy of greenways regional landscape design: 1.Combining the greenway type; 2.To adapt to the natural environment; 3.Reaction the regional culture.Finally, through specific design practices, combined with the actual situation to research and discuss the proposed method, explore the ways to creating a regional characteristic in the process of planning and design urban greenways.
