Research On Ways Of Constructing A "Ecological-smart City" Of Tonghu Huizhou

With the rapid population growth, industrialization and urbanization, the urban sprawl to sustainable development of cities has brought many crises, such as the greenhouse effect,water pollution, consumption of large quantities of non-renewable resources, traffic jams,sand storms and haze weather. City managers begin to re-examine the city’s development model, which is the reason why the author study the ecological and smart urban construction.The author studied a lot about smart and ecological city. construction theory and practice of documentary material that the smart city is "strong political, developed industrial,people centered" as the goal, but in the content of ecologically sustainable development, it lacks certain convincing. On the contrast, ecological city. is an inevitable choice of ideal livable patterns and harmonious development of society. There are some limitations in the ecological city and smart city, so it’s urgent to explore a fusion of new patterns for urban development and smart and ecological city. Therefore, this paper attempts to combine ecological philosophy and smart development, to explore a model of urban development that is ecological efficient, high informative, economic prosperity and beneficent the public.This thesis employs literature analysis, practical research, inductive analysis and other methods. First, the second chapter studies the urban ecological references and refined the theory foundation blend the essence, including smart and ecological city theory as well as the theory of sustainable development. The third chapter analyzes the domestic and ecological construction of smart city success stories in the industry, ecology and transportation and other aspects can be summed up valuable experience. Secondly, the construction of Tonghu City Eco-Smart Zone in Huizhou, is studied as a case. The fourth chapter focuses on the development strategy, space planning, industrial development, ecological environment protection and policy analysis to summarize the development status and characteristics. It shows the necessity to focus from industry development, ecological protection and related policies must be further studied. Finally, by combining theory and practice, from the industrial development, ecological protection and environmental policy tripartite perspectives, put forward countermeasures and suggestions through deep analysis in the studied case. It aims to provide further references for Tonghu ecological and smart zone and other areas in China with the ecological and smart city construction.
