The cause of climate change is largely anthropogenic(National Research Council, 2010; Swim et al.,2011). Furthermore, organizations are also regarded to be among the most significant contributors to climate change(Trudeau & Canada West Foundation, 2007). Individual morality is one of the factors that underlie individual concern and commitment to environmental issues (Feinberg & Willer,2013). Jackson and Seo (2010) believe that managers should focus on the individual discretionary behavior that is beneficial to the organizational environmental strategic objectives, as to find out how employee to make the decision to participate in the organization’s role or activity. Then, how to achieve organizational goals through employee green behavior become a new problem to be solved.Under this background, on the basis of the research on the connotation of moral leadership, such as Brown(2006) and Fehr(2015), this paper extends the connotation of ethical leadership to the field of sustainable development, and puts forward the concept and research of environmental ethical leadership. Papers is based on the planned behavior theory, the social exchange theory, and the social learning theory, discussion on the connotation of environmental ethical leadership and establish the mechanism of the influence of environmental ethical leadership on employees’ green behavior intention and green behavior. So as to provide research support and theoretical guidance for enterprises through the micro organizational level to promote green development, promote the practice of enterprise environmental management and enhance employees green behavior.This paper uses the method of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, using literature research method, in-depth interview method to study the influence mechanism of environmental ethical leadership on employee’s green behavior. The main research contents include:(1) Defining the connotation of environmental ethical leadership with the concept of research; (2) Establishing the model of influence factors of employee green behavior based on 10 environmental related enterprises,19 managers and employees to conduct qualitative research. The paper has identified the composition of environmental ethic leadership and its impact on staffs green behavior, which through research data collected from in-depth interviews with relevant personnel and qualitative analysis based on these researches.At the same time, in order to improving employee green behavior, this paper proposes following four ways:Firstly, Raising managers’ environmental ethics and improving corporate environmental management. Secondly, building corporate environmental ethics culture; thus develop staff environmental awareness and behavior. Thirdly, focusing on people-oriented organizational structure; improving staff returns from thanksgiving. Fourth, establishing environmental moral values of employees to launch a full to participate in environmental protection.
