In the large social background of the new crown pneumonia epidemic,reshaping the economic order and stabilizing the social environment has become an urgent task,and the active assumption of social responsibilities by enterprises is one of the effective ways to quickly achieve social stability and rapid development.However,the people and the government have gradually realized the importance of ecological stability,while the current environmental problems faced by society are still severe,and the environmental responsibilities that enterprises should bear have received attention from all sectors of society.Therefore,how to motivate employees’ green behavior has become a top priority.It can be seen that under the two pressures of the sustainable development of the organization and the environmental protection responsibility of the society,the process of transforming into a social enterprise has become the only way for traditional organizations.Previous studies have found that leadership style has an important predictive effect on the green behavior of employees.However,the current market environment still has potential risks of variability and complexity,which puts more stringent requirements on the sustainable development of the organization and management practices.Therefore,a single leadership model can no longer solve complex and changeable practical problems.As a result,the ambidextrous leadership style came into being.Correspondingly,when applied to the field of environmental protection,exploring the impact of the green ambidextrous leadership on the green behavior of employees has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the model characteristics of ambidextrous leadership(transformational leadership and transactional leadership),this research first applies transactional leadership to the field of environmental protection,develops the concept and structure of green transactional leadership,and forms a green ambidextrous leadership which contain green transformational leadership and green transactional leadership.Since employees’ green behavior is not only affected by the organization level,but also their own motivations,emotions and other factors will also play an important role.Therefore,this research designed two research topics: Research topic one is to study the direct relationship between green dual leadership and employees’ green behavior.The relationship between green transformational leadership and green transactional leadership are independent variables,and the in-role and extra-role green behaviors of employees are the dependent variables.In addition,research topic 1 takes into account the comprehensive application characteristics of green ambidextrous leadership.The interaction between the two leadership styles predicts the in-role and extra-role green behavior of employees,and the interaction between the two leadership styles is the path through the mediation of the green atmosphere to the in-role and extra-role green behavior of the employee.The second research topic incorporates variables at the employee level,combines green transformational/transactional leadership with self-interest motivation,introduces environmental passion,and designs the interaction between green transformational/transactional leadership and self-interested motivation for the in-role and extra-role green behavior of the employees.Also the study tries to explore whether the environmental passion will mediate the interaction effect.The main conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)Green transformational leadership can effectively improve employees in-role and extra-role green behavior;(2)Green transactional leadership can effectively improve employees in-role and extra-role green behavior;(3)Green transactional leadership will positively moderate the relationship between transformational leadership and employees in-role and extra-role green behavior.Green transformational leadership will positively moderate the relationship between transactional leadership and employees in-role and extra-role green behavior;(4)The instrumental or caring green climate will mediate the interaction effect;(5)Self-interest motivations have a negative moderating effect on the green transformational leadership and the employees in-role green behavior;(6)Self-interest motivations have a positive moderating effect on green transactional leaders and employees in-role and extra-role green behaviors;(7)Self-interest motivations have a negative moderating effect on green transformational leadership and environmental passion;(8)Self-interest motivations have a positive moderating effect on green transactional leadership and environmental passion;(9)The interaction of green transformational leadership and self-interest motivation can influence the green behavior of employees through the intermediary effect of environmental passion;(10)Green transactional leadership and The interaction of self-interest motivations can influence the green behaviors of employees through the mediation of environmental passion.Finally,based on all the research conclusions,this study proposes strategic interventions on the intervention of employees’ green behaviors from the organizational and leadership levels,and provides suggestions for effectively improving employees’ green behaviors.The paper has 33 maps,70 tables,and 117 references.
