Though the situation of safety in production of coal mine has greatly improved, safety isstill an important factor to restrict the sound and sustainable development of coal mineenterprises. It is a challenge how those enterprises carry out the safety in production of coalmine effectively. Many studies have shown that coalminer’s unsafe behavior is the majorcause of production accidents. Therefore reducing the coalminer’s unsafe behavior effectivelyhas been regarded as the fundamental way to prevent and control the production accidents ofcoal mine. EAP as an important way of modern human resource management is widely usedin developed countries and has obtained the remarkable result. According to the reality of coalmine enterprises, the thesis put forward EAP applied research of mine enterprises in China.The first study based on the theory research and the interview analysis, internalpsychology of unsafe behavior questionnaire was developed. Using the exploratory factoranalysis, the confirmatory factor analysis and retest reliability analysis to test the validity andreliability.The second study taking the miners in Tengzhou region as the object of investigation, thethesis analyzes the safety climate and operating conditions of the enterprises and socialsupport, internal psychology and unsafe behaviors, EAP cognition and demands forconventional EAP services with the methods of questionnaire. The conclusions are as follow:(1) Among the factors of the safety climate of coal mining enterprises, the scores ofsafety awareness are the highest while those of safety involvement are the lowest, among thework environment tooling and equipment highest while operating condition lowest, amongthe internal psychology safety motives highest while emotion lowest. Among the factors ofunsafe behaviors safety compliance behavior is better than involvement behavior.(2) All the factors of the safety climate, work environment, social support, internalpsychology and unsafe behaviors have significant differences in some demographic variables.(3) Except that four factors of operating environment, tooling and equipment, objectivesupport and the using of support are only correlated significantly with some factors, otherfactors are correlated significantly with each other.(4) Among the factors of safety climate, safety awareness and security commitment frommanagers can significantly positively predict the safety obedience behavior of the miners andsafety awareness can also significantly positively predict the safety involvement behavior ofthe miners.Among the factors of work environment, both of tooling, equipment and operatingatmosphere can significantly positively predict the safety obedience behavior of the minersand tooling and equipment can also significantly positively predict the safety involvement behavior of the miners.Among the factors of social support, subject support can significantly positively predictboth the safety obedience behavior and involvement behavior of the miners.Among the factors of internal psychology, safety motives can significantly positivelypredict both the safety obedience behavior and involvement behavior of the miners. Emotioncan significantly positively predict the safety obedience behavior of the miners but negativelypredict the safety involvement behavior of the miners.(5) There are few miners know the EAP, and most of the miners mainly through networkand colleagues to know the EAP. The miners’ demands for conventional EAP services aremedical heath care program, personal development program, and professional refer, leisureentertainment, crisis support program, the solution of the personal relationships and thesolution of the relationship between individual and organization. The approaches to EAPservices include training, face-to-face refer, internet assist, telephone services andintermediary services. The combination of coal mine enterprises and professional EAPservices is the most popular EAP service provider. |
