The land is the basic material for human beings development. Nowadays, land use and change are important part for the research of global environmental change. The effect of natural environment from human activities and the development of social economy will contradict the Land Use and the growth of economic and population becomes more serious. Therefore, we have to get the facts of the feature and the tendency of land use change. It will play an important role on land management and decision, furthermore, for the sustainable development of the land may have some theoretical significance. With the development of remote sensing technology, RS dynamic monitoring has become an important method to get land use change information; the characteristics are real time, effectiveness and veracity. The author choose Donggang district as the study area because it is a typical area for research of land use change and its various topographic types. With the support of RS,supervised classification of Donggang District in 2000, 2006 and 2014 Landsat TM images were processed to obtain classification data of Land Use Types. Based on GIS, the major date of land use type area, land-use transfer matrix and some conversion figures are analyzed. With the date, author points out the dynamic change law and tendency of land use through analyzing the spatial-temporal changes of land use. By using qualitative and quantitative method, this study analyzes the effects of driving force stresses for land use change. The main conclusions of this study as follows:1. The analysis of land use change. In terms of quantity, speed and structure of land use change to reflect the characteristics of land use change. The spatial position of change distributed widely and the difference between different regions is obvious. The area around the center of city has the greatest changes and the mountain with the least. The quantity of cultivated land changes little, but the quality is decline. Construction land changes are fastest, the residential areas and the industry lands increased significantly, while forest land and water area reduced with the slower speed.2. Prediction of the land use structure. Use the Markov model to predict the future fifteen years’ land use structure. The prediction shows that the cultivated land will continue decreasing while the construction land increasing. The results coincide with the economic development demands. The prediction of the water area warns us to strengthen the protection of water resource.3. The research of driving forces on land use change. Land Use Change results from thefactors of nature, society and economy. Apply the principal component analysis of SPSS to analyze the driving force factors of land use change in Donggang District. The results show that the society and economy are the key driving forces of land use change in a future period. The expansion of the industrial and mining land is the most prominent change of construction land.
