Performance appraisal is a basic step in human resource management, and also animportant tool for enterprises to achieve their strategic objectives. It could promote theimprovement of business performance and implement organizational strategic byestablishing a reasonable and effective performance appraisal system. Thereby assistenterprises to achieve strategic goals and enhance their competitiveness. Currently, mostperformance appraisals set indicators according to the department function division, thatseparated the continuous task, ignored the value of cooperation among departments, alsowent against the trend of flat organization and process management.In this thesis, the performance appraisal system based on network flow, integrated theprocess management theory and network theory into the performance appraisal. Thisobjective-oriented appraisal system started with business process network optimization andfocus on key process, that’s ensure each flow and post coordinate effectively to achievestrategic objectives.The thesis explained that the enterprises which implement this appraisal should beordered and had clear feasible strategic objectives and detailed implementation plan. Onthis basis, we drew the business process network, evaluated and adjusted it by networkmeasurement technology, then identify the key process by process optimization matrix.The next step was establishing performance index system. We divided the index systeminto three levels: network layer, process layer and node layer. The node layer wasconsidered as positions performance indicators. The measurement of project was obtainedby the strategic objectives decomposition while the performance attributes was obtained bycustomer needs transmit upward, and select the appropriate indicators by using correlationanalysis. Then construct mathematical model for calculating index weight according topartial correlation coefficients and process key coefficients. At last, by taking L juicelimited company as an example, illustrated the establishment method and steps ofperformance appraisal system based on process networks in enterprises.
