A Study On Electronic Product Development Project Communication Management In PE

Recently, economics globalization has been developed deeply and China has already joined in WTO. China electric industry has grew up faster than before, more and more global company build their plant in China. It has cross-cultural team members in one project. These team members may have different mindset and work ways due to they come from different countries. It will cause communication obstacles during project management. These problems could impact project timing, cost and delivery, even cause project failed.The subject invested in this paper was electric product development project. Use the theory of project communication management related theory to summarize the electric product development project’s full process project communication management system. Take the PE Company’s electric product development project as an example, by analysis problems in its project communications management’s identify stakeholders, plan communications, distribute information, manage stakeholder expectations, and report performance. And provide solutions based on electric product development project lifecycle management stages: Charter, Spec and Planning, Design, Sample build and qualification, Mass production. Hopefully, the improvement ideas not only can be used in PE projects, but also can provide reference for similar projects in electric product development industry.
