Thermal power is a form of power production,power generation from natural resources to a variety of fossil resources including coal、natural gas and oil resources, and thermal power generation is divided into gas-steam combined cycle power generation,coal-fired steam turbine power generation,engine power and fuel turbines to generate electricity.In recent years, changes in the electric power system,has also brought changes in the electricity market,mainly for electricity increasingly fierce competition,competition and price competition for talent.coupled with changes in the coal market,the electricity industry is more competitive. Power generation companies to improve their competitive advantage, we must first improve the overall operating capacity and internal management, optimize the allocation of company resources,especially for the optimal allocation of human resources and incentives.Scientific and effective management system for power companies paying employees to provide an effective way to manage and motivate employeebetter service for enterprises.These papers analyzed the human resource management of W electric power company, and use the literature analysis and questionnaire to invest the problem of salary management in W electric power company. We found that the salary system is not fair and lack of excitation, some key employee resign and join in competitors. Combined with the characteristics of W power company employees and the company’s strategic direction.In the basic of job evaluation, job optimization and integration, we designed a new performance appraisal systemof the W electric power company, and optimize the existing salary system, and ultimately the development and structural characteristics of corporate officers, strategic development goals match salary system optimization. This article aims to analyze the thermal power enterprise compensation management status, characteristics and existing problems. Wewant to provide a scientific and rational, workable compensation management system to meet the enterprise production and management and strategic development needs.
