Study On The Rural Tourism Development Of Dahu Town In Yong’an City

Rural tourism has become an important part of modern tourism industry andmore and more favored by tourists with the rapid development of tourism. As animportant content of thesocialist new rural construction, rural tourism plays animportant role in the rural development, increasing the income of farmers,agricultural industry structural adjustment. Tourism is one of the three pillarindustries in Dahu Town, the development of rural tourism also hadpreliminary.relying on "stone forest" tourism development. This paper discussed theway of development of rural tourism in Dahu Town base on the analysis of thelocation, natural, folk culture and status.Rural tourism has formed a lot of regional development models although it’sstill at the initial stage of development in China. Rooted in the former research ofrural tourism, The paper has analyzed and summarized the value of rural tourismdevelopment in Dahu which from the necessity, possibility and realistic meaning ofrural tourism at first. Secondly, a systematic analysis and summary of rural tourismwill be provided from the research generals, concepts, characteristics, functions anddeveloping trends of rural tourism. Thirdly, as viewed from the SWOT (strength,weakness, opportunity and threat) which based on the market research, we suggestsome basic ideas and development model of Dahu Town. Finally, from theperspective of sustainable development, the basic thinking and development mode ofrural tourism in Dahu as well as specific actions will be suggested, providing realisticmeaning and reference to the great-leap-forward development of rural tourism inDahu.
