Tobacco agriculture is one of the pillar industries of Chinese agriculture. Sustainable developmentof tobacco agriculture makes a significant contribution for shaking off poverty, economic development,as soon as possible to prosperity, to achieve the sustainable development of agriculture in China. The first one is supportinginfrastructure construction on tobacco production is not consummate, led a poor anti-risk ability ontobacco production. Second, the cultivation cost is higher, the benefit in not good compare with othercrops cultivation. Thirdly, the cultivation scale in each family is so small, led to a less specialization.Fourthly, the production technology level to be further improved, there is still a certain gap comparewith others on tobacco leave quality.Aimed at the problem of Yong’an tobacco industry, combined with the actual of tobaccocultivation development, the Yong’an tobacco agricultural sustainable development countermeasures aregiven. First, enlarges the investment on the tobacco supporting infrastructure construction, reduce thecost of tobacco cultivation. Second, expand the scale of tobacco cultivation, to improve the degree ofspecialization. Third is to increase the innovation and application of practical techniques to raise thelevel of tobacco production. Fourth is to strengthen tobacco quality management, enhance the corecompetitiveness. Fifth, accelerate the construction of information technology, improve enterprisemanagement level; sixth is to establish tobacco production risk protection system to address the tobaccofarmers worry about.Use the method that given by the development statagies to solve the production problems hasreached certain achievement as follows Tobacco production infrastructure has been further improved,the scale of planting has been moderate expanded, intensive management has been steady promoted,and the professional service system has been constantly improved.Intensive management includeintensive breeding, baking, production. Specialized service system including professional cooperatives,specialized seeding, specialized plant protection and specialized mechanized farming.
