Reseach On Supplier Management Relative To TY Company

The standard purchasing process in the current enterprise should be divided intotwo sections, strategic sourcing and order management. Strategic sourcing includesupplier development&management and cooperation design, order management focuson procurement planning, orders, delivery and payment. Supplier development andmanagement is the core of whole purchasing process, which performance will impactwhole sourcing department.This thesis focus on supplier management in the purchasing process, used supplychain management theory and management information science and etc. learned fromsuccessful purchasing management experience from home and abroad, and combinedqualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and with the theory and practice mixture,to comprehensively analyze one specific business group in TY company. And aimed atfinding out the problems in supplier management and gave a correspondingcountermeasure to make it improvement.In the first section of this thesis, we introduced the research background, thesignificance of this thesis, overseas supply chain and supplier management literaturereview, research concepts, logic and method of this thesis. Secondly, we introducedliterature points of supplier management theory in supply chain; indicate the purposeand significance of supplier management, the contents of supplier management, etc.Third, we introduced TY’s current status of supplier management, includingorganization chart, procurement operation process, supplier management system,supplier relationship management, etc,Forth, we analyzed their problems and rootcauses; Fifth, we gave improvement suggestions about these problems. The last one, wegot the conclusions and make the prospect.
