Abstract: The construction industry is a independent material production sector, and itis one of the important pillar industry of China’s national economy. The rapid developmentof the construction industry to promote the rapid growth of China’s national economy. At thesame time, the rapid economic growth has promoted the expansion of production scale ofconstruction industry. Especially in last few years, the national increase in infrastructureinvestment, which put forward higher demands to the construction enterprise marketcompetitiveness. And in the years of planned economy system, the construction enterprisemanagement level is relatively low. Facing the increasing market demand and the survivaland development of enterprises, is an urgent need to strengthen enterprise management,especially the enterprise of construction project management. Because the task ofinfrastructure project is to create new value for the state and the national capitalaccumulation, so its importance is self-evident. The key of management of infrastructureproject is the cost management. Practical importance will strengthen the cost management ofinfrastructure project in the first place.The cost management of infrastructure project is a process of system planning,organization and management of materialized labor and consumption of labor capital in theconstruction process by using the advanced technology and method of management. Basedon theory and practice, we carry out a detailed study and discussion on the infrastructureproject cost management of A company. In this paper, we analyze the current status of costmanagement of the infrastructure project in A company. Combing with practical engineeringproject, we analyze the whole progress of construction project, and find out the mainproblems of cost management and countermeasures. Effective cost management ofinfrastructure project can prevent priorly, discover promptly and solve effectively theexisting problems of cost management of infrastructure project, which can achievehigh-quality engineering ands low investment cost management.Innovation: In this paper, we apply the method of target cost management to discussthe cost management process of prior forecast, things in control and feed back of theinfrastructure project. It emphasizes on the control cost management by stage and proposes the bidding management prior to the infrastructure project, cost control management in theevent and evaluation management procedures after the infrastructure project with theanalysis of actual cases. It is of practical and reference use.
