Slender West Lake Scenic Tourist Satisfaction Factors

With the improvement of living standard and development of economy, more and more people are taking part in tourist activity, spurring the tourist industry. The tourist industry is an efficient propeller for local economy, supported by the adjustment of economic structure from government. Tourist scenic spot, a main part of tourist system, with the aim to acquire the core competitive power should not only protect, develop and construct the resource but also do some research on the satisfaction on the tourists because of the value reflected by the main participant, tourists.In views of this, this study takes Slender West Lake Scenic Area as an example to empirical study the tourist satisfaction with the method of combination of theoretical research and empirical research. Firstly, the study analysis the background and gives the research problem. Secondly, in a review of the literature and on the basis of theory, this study constructs the model of the influencing factor of tourist satisfaction and puts forward5research hypotheses. Thirdly, design questionnaire surveys to obtain data and using SPSS statistical analysis software to conduct empirical tests the theoretical models and testing the relation among variable quantity with method of regression analysis. Finally, main conclusions of this study include four points:(1) All of the five assumptions pass through hypothesis testing, the research shows that the evaluation of tourist to scenic spot, tourism service, basic infrastructure, supporting facilities and tourism price have positive impact on tourist satisfaction.(2) The most satisfied factor is scenic spots and the most dissatisfied factor is tourism price.(3) Through the regression analysis, sorting the five factors by impact in descending order is tourism price, basic infrastructure supporting facilities, scenic spots and tourism services.(4) Overall, satisfaction of tourists to the Slender West Lake Scenic Area is in the vicinity of the satisfaction, but it still has room to improve in the future.On the base of empirical research, some suggestions are put forwarded such as (1) enhancement of price management,(2) improvement on the function of the supporting facilities,(3) promotion of the service,(4) perfect the basic infrastructure and so on.
