The Study On The Chinese Electric Regional Power Competitiveness

The power industry is the basis of the energy industry of the national economy, and support the healthy development of the industry of the national economy, it is also conducive to the improvement of living standards of the people. The power industry is occuping a pivotal position in the national socio-economic, and the healthy development of the national economy and the power industrythe stable development are closely related. In2011, the negative impact of the financial tsunami is still existed, but the electricity industry has bottomed out and is moving into a new cycle of development. At the same time, as China further deepen the power system reform, the competitive situation has begun field of power generation in the electric power industry in Chinese formation, the electricity industry supply areas lead into the competition mechanism, in addition, the technical level of Chinese electric power industry is quickly improved,and the technology in the field of transmission and distribution is also improved.To study the competitiveness of Chinese electric power, electric power pattern characteristics and electric power industry development status, this article utilizes method for evaluating and the factor analysis and cluster analysis of multivariate statistical analysis, and provides some targeted reference comments and suggestions on the development of Chinese electric power industry. Firstly acquire ranking results of the31regions by constructing the index system for the total index on the basis of the theory in the competitive evaluation. Then get the11years ranked results of2001to2011by factor analysis from the electric power construction,electricity production, electricity consumption, and green energy,at last the two rankings results are compared explained.The results show that, first of all, Chinese electricity is in short supply on the pattern of the country’s electricity industry, there will be a power shortage situation in some areas over a long period of time. Secondly, the distribution of power resources in China is uneven, thus there is a wide range of long-distance power dispatch. Finally, not only electricity production structure but also electricity consumption structure are largely depended on thermal power. To achieve sustainable development on Chinese social economic, as well as to accelerate the pace of building "beautiful China", choosing green energy as a means of power production is the inevitable trend of development of Chinese electric power industry.
