With the rapid development of China’s insurance industry, competition on talents of the industry is getting more and more intensified. As the second largest life insurance company of Hunan, the employee turnover gets higher especially for office employees in Hunan branch of Ping An Insurance Company (below refer as the "Company"). How to effectively control the employee turnover has become the core of the starting point and the foothold about the thesis.Based on the employee turnover theory, the thesis introduces the current domestic and overseas theories about employee turnover, and interprets the famous Marge-Simon Model, Price-Mueller Model, Mobley Chain of Intermediary, etc.. On the basis of relevant theory,The thesis objectively describes the aggravated office employee turnover by demonstrating HR data, such as turnover rate of the Company from2008to2012,and analyses the cause of high office employee turnover in the Company, with focus on factors inclusive of salary&benefits, performance appraisal, internal promotion, company culture and competition of other insurance companies.Finally, the thesis suggests the solution on office employee turnover, including optimizing current recruitment channels, improving performance appraisal scheme, enhancing training platform and payment package. In addition, internal communication, talent pipeline and company culture also play important roles on improving employee turnover status.It is a long-term and systematic human resource project to effectively prevent undesired employee turnover, We need to do two things:First, we must focus on the company’s human resources management to optimize the hard environment,Including appropriate recruitment and training system, remuneration system and performance appraisal,etc;Second is to strengthen the company’s culture and other soft environment construction, and create a harmonious business atmosphere.
