Under the competitive circumstances of the insurance business's whole opening up, the word "opening up" has manifested a kind of much deeper meaning. On the one hand privately operated capital come in great numbers, on the other hand the unfettered foreign insurance races to control the market. Out of the insurance business, merchant banks begin to penetrate, and at the same time many insurance companies are busy in integrating the property insurance and the life insurance inside. Accompanied with the sustained escalation of job-hopping, the problem of employee turnover is paid more attention by many insurance enterprises.If the employee turnover rate is too high, many competent employees continueto resign and many works can't be accomplished smoothly, the enterprise will suffer from great damage. Therefore, how to build up a pleasant atmosphere to inspire the employees' potential, increase their job satisfaction and reduce the turnover rate so as to bring the maximum benefits for the organization becomes the most critical issues. In order to study the problem, the thesis takes PICC Property & Casualty Company Limited (hereinafter called PICC P & C) Shandong Branch as the object, studies its employee turnover, does the relevant theoretical studies and analyses about the influencing factors and makes some improving suggestions in the end.Since 2004, PICC P & C Shandong Branch has been facing the serious problem of employee turnover which directly leads to the decrease of customer resources and the downgrading of buseness. In view of this problem, the thesis initiates from the analysis about the general fators of the employee turnover and proposes the models of employee turnover on the basis of the predecessors' theoretical achievements. Then through the personnel interviews, questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis methods, it analyzes employee turnover of PICC P & C Shandong Branch with examples and discusses the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention as well as turnover acts to confirm the reliability of the models.
