Study On The Adaptability Evaluation Of The Yangtze River Main Channel’s Shipping Development And Basin Economy

The Yangtze River trunk line is the most important link of the Yangtze River economic development, the Yangtze River shipping plays a very important role in driving the economic development and industrial layout along the river. On the other hand, the rapid development of the Yangtze River region economy promotes the enormous growth of the Yangtze River shipping demand, and puts forward higher request for the Yangtze River main channel construction, therefore, based on the economic development level of the Yangtze River basin, it has important practical significance to measure the adaptation of the Yangtze River waterway’s shipping development level under the background of the economic development.Currently, it mainly focuses on the research of the interaction between the whole transportation and social economy on adaptability research, and the inland waterway adaptability study is much less, a unified evaluation index system hasn’t formed. This paper argues that the adaptability of shipping development and the Yangtze River basin economy not only includes the adaptability of the Yangtze River shipping development status and the current economic situation, but also includes the adaptability of the Yangtze River future shipping needs and economic needs, this adaptation connotation refers not only that the development of shipping has to meet the requirements of economic development from the speed and scale, but also that waterway infrastructure conditions, ship operators and other organizations must ensure the and economic development stage and level. Therefore, considering the above factors, this article selects a series of indicators to build the adaptability evaluation index system of the Yangtze River shipping development and valley economic, uses the principal component analysis to analyze the indicators, respectively obtains the scores of the Yangtze River’upper, middle and downstream channel construction and economic development evaluation, analyzes its adaptability to provide the direction for the future channel construction.First of all, this paper analyzes the development of shipping and the Yangtze River Basin economy status, respectively takes an overview of the current economic situation of the Yangtze River from four aspects of the overall economy, industrial structure, foreign trade, local financial resources, and analyzes the construction of the Yangtze River waterway and navigable situation from four aspects of the waterway, port, ship and transport. Then this paper uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to analyze the adaptation of the Yangtze River shipping and Basin economy demand, using quadratic exponential smoothing method to obtain the forecast results; in addition, in the fourth chapter I considered a number of factors affecting the development and construction of the Yangtze River Basin economy, by analyzing the correlation between indicators, excluding non-relevant indicators, to build the shipping evaluation index system, then evaluate the adaptability of the Yangtze River shipping and maritime economic development, using principal component analysis method to analyze the data, eventually obtained the maritime economic development and watershed composite score, calculated the difference value to measure current and future maritime development level; Finally, I put forward some suggestions.
