With the development of economy, the competition in market economy is increasingly fierce. Improving the core competitiveness of the enterprise is primal problem of a company. In corporate management, performance management is a method of promoting enterprises’ development, which combines the strategy, resources and actions of enterprises. It is important to promote the performance of an organization and individuals, and help them to achieve strategic targets.In the management of human resources, it is more important to appraise senior managers. At present, there is little study on senior managers’assessment and their performance evaluation. This thesis studies performance management of senior managers in Hengyu Express Company. On the basis of analyzing related theory and research method of performance management, this thesis first summarizes the current situation and existent problems of performance management in Hengyu Express Company, and use360degree evaluation method to assess senior managers in Hengyu Express Company, pointing out relevant execute solution, so as to provide reference for the development of Hengyu Express Company.The first part of this thesis mainly states the background and the implications of the subject, and summarizes related theory at home and abroad, and puts forward research method and content. The second part states the theory of performance management, discusses performance, performance assessment, performance management and some methods, laying the foundation for the study in the following parts. The third part analyses the main body of the research and the current situation of the company, analyzes the characteristics of senior managers and some problems. Then on the basis of the former three parts, the fourth part assesses the process and corresponding content, and analyses the result. The fifth part deals with the guarantees of the implementation process of performance appraisal system. The last part draws the conclusions and points out further research direction.
