In China, the auto industry developed rapidly in recent years, but the whole industry still encounters great challenges at present. Most of the car factories’ production is pulled by order, which is name JIT production system. For their suppliers, they also need to follow the JIT production. That means they must deliver their products to customer within several days after got formal order instead of several weeks. The key challenge is the quick response ability when they face the order change in short time. The ability including stable productivity, good machine conditions and the skilled workers who are stand by in any time.So that they can deliver the right product to their customers.D company was founded in 2002, it’s a first level supplier for car factory. D company has the stable production equipment, production capacity and advanced operation management system, can fully meet the requirements of their customers. The biggest problem is the order fluctuation. If the actual customer orders than the forecast, then the company needs urgent recruitment and training for new employees, or they need existing employees work overtime to finish the production task. If the actual customer orders less than forecast, the existing department staff will face a no pay holiday, causes the staff to reduce income. If the orders reduced seriously and prediction is much longer, we even need to reduce the staff. Therefore, to maintain a good employee engagement, is particularly important to the normal operation of D company.This article get the employee engagement survey results by send the survey questionnaire to employees. The author got back 258 effective questionnaires after check. Then make the correlation analysis and regression analysis by the tool of SPSS software. At last the author find four major factors which impact the employee engagement, and give the improvement proposal.The research shows that the employee engagement impacted by four major factors, which is employee involve and commitment, communication, reward and recognition, employee development. In the end of the article, the author give the improvement proposal which from four aspect. First, give the employee more chance to make decision or influence the decision so that to enhance their involvement. Second, improve the communication policy and strategy. Third, make the performance assessment policy more fair and the reward more incentive. Lastly, broaden the employee develop ways and policies.
