At present, the supermarket retail competition has entered upon theextreme fierce phase. Competing with the foreign and national largesupermarkets, regional supermarkets represent weak performance and haverisk of being integrated. The core competition of supermarket is commodity,which involves with the ability of supply chain integration. Under thesituation that domestic and foreign supermarkets are developing the supplierstructure upgrading, market oriented purchase, strategy of private label andthe procurement base development, the regional supermarkets have toachieve the differentiation by supply chain innovation to maintain their ownmarket competence.In this article, based on the analysis of the supply chain in regionalsupermarket operational efficiency and benefit status, it explains theinfluence of regional supermarket chain from the back end margin, businessstrategy and management with insufficient progress and reform; thencombining the differentiation theory and the supply chain strategy of Yonghui,RT-Mart, and Jia Jia Yue, it explores the specific strategy of regionalsupermarket differentiation, especially focusing on the fresh food in thesupply chain construction and differentiation direction. At last, it analyzes thebasic content of supply chain management, and explores the business competition and the focus of the work direction.
