Enterprise managers is the executor of the command before the superior, is responsiblefor the specific task planning and related measures and measures, in order to complete theenterprise senior leaders to make decisions and deployment.In front of the lower is the directmanagement of enterprises, manages a department or a certain area, and other departmentscooperate with each other, to complete the task as may be assigned. In terms of enterprisestrategic decision, middle managers is the collector and provider of decision information, isthe enterprise decision-making disseminator and executives. Middle managers, as it were, isthe enterprise management activities of the elite, has a role, which forms a connecting linkbetween the preceding and in the process of enterprise development plays a very importantrole. In view of the middle manager’s special status, to strengthen the education and trainingof enterprise middle managers, further enhance the ability of the middle managers, forenterprise’s development in the future, it is critical.This article selects the H company as the research object. H company is a provincial keyenterprises, is based on coal energy base, diversified development of enterprises. Itspredecessor is a mining bureau office unit, had "the arduous struggle, thrift mine-running"national mineral wind. In August2000, restructured into group co., LTD. Now has more than130wholly owned and holding subsidiaries, place class above the middle managers more than1000, more than one place class branch or subsidiary managers more than130people.According to the continuous development of the company, the enterprise recruitmentpromotion every year a large number of middle managers, but the staff ability is uneven.Through the way of questionnaire and in-depth interviews, we understand the characteristicsof H company middle managers, to the company, analyzing the problems existing in thecurrent training system on the basis of constructing competency model research of middlemanager training system. By studying the characteristics of the competency model, establishthe competency model of middle-level manager H company, with professional test andevaluation software to evaluate each factor, according to the established model and actual ability level of the gap analysis, data in this study, on the basis of training needs analysis, andaims at training needs to build more targeted middle management training system. Finally, toevaluate training effect.In this paper, the structure and elements of competency and competency model wasstudied, and the training system based on competency model has carried on the preliminaryexploration. Middle manager training, however, is not static, requires a combination of aregion, a company specific cultural background, demand investigation and analysis, to adjustcontinuously, to meet the needs of the development of enterprises in the future.
