Research And Development Of Industrial Tourism In Jiangxi Copper Group

Industrial tourism has already come of age in the developed countries and it is gradually becoming a new highlight of tourism industry in our country in recent years. International and domestic successful practices have shown that industrial tourism has an extensive future with a significant economic and social benefit. As the biggest state-owned enterprise in our province, Jiangxi Copper Corporation (JCC) has laid a better foundation and condition in developing industrial tourism with its largest smelting base in Asia. Referring to a large number of literatures and the international and domestic practices of industrial tourism, this paper explains the significance of developing industrial tourism by means of integrating theory with practice after long field investigation, discussion exchange and consultation. It also fully analyzes the current situation and advantages in developing industrial tourism of JCC, expounds the necessity and feasibility of developing industrial tourism by JCC, and puts forward the approaches and several specific projects of developing industrial tourism by JCC.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background and significance of the research, the definition of relevant concepts, and the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter focuses on the necessity and feasibility of the exploitation of JCC industrial tourism, mainly analyzes the significance of it to the enterprise, the society and the economic development, and points out some necessary conditions of the exploitation of JCC industrial tourism.The third chapter is about the experience and enlightenment of the exploitation of industrial tourism at home and abroad, mainly after the analysis of international and domestic successful practices.The fourth chapter provides the approaches of the exploitation of JCC industrial tourism, including several modes of it, and elaborates how enterprises, government and local residents participate jointly during the exploitation of JCC industrial tourism.The fifth chapter is about the traveling routine exploitation and the tourism project design of JCC industrial tourism. It mainly analyzes and designs the traveling routine, visiting project and experience programme in the exploitation of JCC industrial tourism.
