Research On International Management Of Jiangxi Copper Corporation

The policy of reform and opening up has been implemented for 30 years and many good progress have been made in China.Currently,Jiangxi Copper Corporation in copper smelting and copper products processing capacity is relatively strong.But compared to other domestic enterprises,the pace of walking out relatively slow.Due to the global economic downturn,the copper market situation is overall downturn.In the domestic,the situation is worse.On one hand,because of China's economic transition,manufacturing is downturn.this results in the copper demand dropping and forming the phenomenon of excess capacity;On the other hand,the shortage of copper resources leads to not be self-sufficient and China depends on imports in long-term.As a result,China has been become be vulnerable to international market,which further Exacerbate the downturn of domestic copper market.Therefore,the establishment of adequate copper resources reserves is the only way to alleviate the domestic copper market supply and demand imbalance and also the safety need of China's resources and development of economy.As a leader in the industry,JCC international business is a way to relieve the domestic resources shortage and a effective way to enhance strength.There are many theories about internationalization of enterprises,such as the theories of path choice,constraints,regional selection,which are good reference value for JCC.This study firstly is Met in the theoretical basis and combined with the present situation of JCC,then analyses the reason of internationalization and problems encountered.Thirdly,by three enterprise internationalization process analyzing,this study summarizes the international experience.According to the first two,the paper lastly gives international recommendations.The study illustrates that JCC should pay attention to the location choice,entry mode choice,cultural integration,adaptation ability and so on.To enhance their level of technology,the JCC should set up the consciousness,strengthen market ability,strengthen environmental adaptive capacity,accelerate the information construction,intensify training of international personnel,pay attention to risk prevention and play the advantages of smelting to integrate into the global market.As Jiangxi has many mineral resources,this study can provide references for other enterprises.
