China is a Manufacturing Powerhouse. Manufacturing industry whose life is advancedmanufacturing technology is the pillar of our national economy. It’s also the core powersource to make the change from a powerhouse to a manufacturing country. Precision andUltra-precision machining technology is one of the important development trends of advancedmanufacturing technology. And precision toolings are the basic equipments for precisionmachining.As a member of Precision machining enterprise in Guangdong Province, C Company,which was set up in Shenzhen on July,2001and changed to a joint-stock company in May,2008, is now becoming a State-level high-tech enterprise with total assets more than1.3billion yuan. It focuses on precision toolings and is mainly engaged in professionaldevelopment, designing, manufacturing and selling mobile phone accessories. Main productscontains: Mobile series connectors, Shielding, Rails, Hinges, Metal exterior parts, Electronicproduct packaging materials, etc.This paper use PEST analysis tool, by studying the external environment of C companyand mobile development trends, revolve around policy and law, economy, society and culture,population, technological environment and mobile development trends, to analyze theopportunities and threats faced by C company. The main opportunities contains: State policysupport, Strong market demands, International industry’s migration to China, Increasingtechnical level. And the main threats are as follows: International monopoly has been formed,Difficult to enter the international terminal customer’s supply chain, Manpower supplyreduced and Cost of the enterprise increased. Then analyze through C company’s internalresources and capacity to see its advantages&disadvantages and core competence. The maindisadvantages in the company at present are: Small scale of production, Lack ofInternationalization and management ability, Small marketing cover. The core advantages ofC Company lie in: Products design and innovation, mold development, customer and internalcost control, etc.Although it keeps a rapid development and its net assets and business income&profitscontinue to rise, C Company still occupies a relatively small market share in Chinese marketat present and its major customers are concentrated in Chinese manufacturer terminal. Toresolve the competition of Larid、Tyco、Molex、Foxconn, etc. Faced by C Company and thedifficulty to enter international manufacturer terminal, this thesis uses SWOT analysis tool to make a suitable competitive strategy for C Company based on its low cost and differentiationstrategy. And made the Company’s short, medium, long term strategic goals. Firstly, Continueto strengthen the company’s technology strength and cost control ability, expand thecompany’s patent reserves and establish its brand. Then use the company’s technology, costand brand advantages to attract international customers. And develop automated productiontechnology and rush to other related industries at last.Finally, in view of the above strategy, this paper develops strategic safeguard measures indetail from the aspects of enterprise culture, organization structure, management system, costcontrol, personnel incentive and brand construction.
