With the rapid development of the modern economy, the logistics industry is developing rapidly and stably for the increasing social needs. The modern logistics industry breaking the service model of the logistics which is the single storage and transportation has been diversified its rang of service and the service levels has been improving so as to provide a variety of service for different customers. Logistics company operation is to make benefits based on the provision logistics service for customers, which relates to the operation cost. Every company manages to meet customers demand at the minimum of operating costs. Earning the maximum benefit for the companies is the pursuit of the ultimate goal of all logistics companies.A large proportion of the operating cost is used in the core areas of logistics activities---logistics distribution center. Therefore, the key to saving distribution cost is to optimizing the distribution resources reasonably and improving the efficiency of distribution which are more difficult work. Researching indicated that realization of Logistics information management, improvement of the management level and service system is the important method to increase distribution efficiency, to reduce operating cost. China’s logistics resources are in abundance, but various factors such as underutilized distribution resource, defect of distribution process, single services and bad service quality affected the survival and development of the logistics industry. And what is said above restricts China’s logistics from development of modernization, network and information and causes logistics industry less market competitive. Thus it is significant theoretical and practical significance to study the distribution process of China’s logistics company.Logistics Company M is a third-party logistics enterprises whose main business is warehousing and distribution. In this paper, the profile and the operating status of the company M are introduced in detail. The author puts forward that the distribution paths do not scientific, vehicle cubed out is low, transit vehicles are difficult to management, the flow of goods not unblocked and distribution management is poor.Analyzing the problem the author studied the distribution problem of the Company M by applying the theories and methods of the information technology and operation management. As well the author presented ideas that optimization distribution lines are set based on the minimum transport cost and optimization of vehicle dispatching by modern logistics information technology. On the basis of this study suggestions and countermeasures of the optimized delivery process of the logistics company M.
