Study On Sustainable Development In Hohhot

Hohhot is a compound system, which consists of ecology-economy society subsystems. It covers4areas,4counties,1Banner,1state-level economic and technological development zone. In the thesis, the author use Hohhot to refer to Hohhot area.The thesis takes "Hohhot sustainable development" as the research subject and takes Hohhot as the target for the study of sustainable development. It collates Hohhot data from2000to2010,carrying on the qualitative and quantitative analysis. In order to study easily, it looks insight into comprehensive evaluation by respectively establishing index system to Hohhot social subsystem, economic subsystem,resource and environment subsystem.The thesis conducts the empirical research for sustainable development from the perspective of ecology, economic social, by using SPSS17.0software of factor analysis and regression analysis methods and relevant statistical methods. Through the analysis, it comes to the conclusion that is not optimistic that the ability of sustainable development on ecology subsystems in Hohhot. What’s more, there exists contradiction between economic subsystem and ecology subsystem in Hohhot region sustainable development. At the same time, the incongruity between ecology subsystem and social subsystem should not be ignored.Finally, the thesis puts forward Suggestions on the basis of comprehensive evaluation for the existing problems.
